Grey Dove was founded to address a structural gap in how intelligent systems are adopted and governed. Current approaches to AI safety focus heavily on model behaviour, but advanced systems also require strong organisational practices around oversight, accountability, auditability, and responsible deployment.

The practice focuses on the governance layer around intelligent systems: how organisations set responsibilities, manage risk, document decisions, maintain oversight, and evaluate system performance over time.

The work draws on thirty years of enterprise architecture and delivery leadership across insurance, financial services, global development, film and television, asset management, legal, and local government — applied to the governance challenges of advanced AI systems in complex organisational settings.
